Josh Brolin will be honored with a prestigious award at the 2017 San Luis Obispo International Film Festival.
The 2017 San Luis Obispo International Film Festival will honor the part-time local and Academy Award nominee with the King Vidor Award.
Actor and former King Vidor award winner Jeff Bridges, who has lived in Montecito, will present Brolin with this year’s award for excellence in filmmaking.
Brolin grew up in Templeton and owns a ranch in the Templeton-Adelaida area. He is known for such films as The Goonies, True Grit, and No Country for Old Men.
The ceremony takes place on March 18 at 7 p.m. at the Fremont Theater, 1025 Monterey Street, San Luis Obispo.
